Social #
Connecting with other players and building community is an important party of a positive game play experience. Pragma Engine’s Social services allow developers to integrate social features such as in-game chat with online friends, seamless party formation, and interactions based on player activity, making it easier for friends to connect, coordinate, and play together.
Pragma’s social offerings include the Friend service and the Presence service. Using these services, users can perform tasks such as:
- Maintain a bi-directional friend list
- Easily send friend invitations to players they encounter during a Pragma session or offline
- Accept or reject friend invites
- Add friends to parties
- Set pre-defined (basic) and custom (rich) statuses, and display these status to friends
