Pragma Engine provides a ton of configurable features out of the box, but every game is unique. Pragma enables custom microservices to be built from scratch and tailored to a games exact needs. Services built within Pragma benefit from the engine foundations– covering SDK generation, authentication, network, caching, persistence, and more. Writing microservices within Pragma is faster, simpler, and lower risk then starting a custom backend from scratch, and provides a consistent backend tech stack between pre-built features and game specific features. Custom services are hosted and managed alongside pre-built Pragma services for studios relying on Pragma’s Managed Services offering– consoliating dev ops and live ops into one fully managed offering that powers all backend features for your game.
